From Watercolour to Handmade Card :: Posted by: Hazel on March 27th, 2010
Working With Little Gems Handmade Cards
I am really pleased to be working with Little Gems Handmade Cards, since the begining of 2010 I have been designing graphics which have been made into beautiful handmade cards and are on sale online at www.littlegems-cards.co.uk.
There are now lots of designs online for both Wedding and Party invitations, ranging from the classic, chic and elegant styles to the fun and funky. From Wedding cupcakes to funky wonky tiered cake party invitations and from formual one cars to tea cups for parties of all types.

Tea Party
The tea party invitation was inspired by my love of a cup of tea in a china cup and saucer, I painted this cup and saucer in watercolours from a cup and saucer here at home, I then made it into a graphic and then a card design and it was created into a handmade card now online at www.littlegems-cards.co.uk/invitation_teacup.html.
In House Designs
At Little Gems Handmade cards all the cards and invitations are designed in house, and therefore can offer cards both bespoke and customised options to clients requirements. Why not check out the website, and if you don’t see what you are looking for contact Alison at Little Gems Handmade Cards and together we can off lots of ideas and suggestions for bespoke and custom designs.

Do You Twitter? Why we Twitter :: Posted by: Hazel on January 6th, 2010
Do you Twitter?

Social media is very much in the news and in many peoples lives, facebook, linkedin, myspace and of course twitter, and even if you don’t use social media the chances are you know someone who does, or you have seen the logos of these networks online, on tv or on your mobile phone.
Adrian and I have been on Linkedin for a few years and have been involved with, and post in forums relevant to our business and interests in web development, online accessibility etc for many years now. We hadn’t ventured into these other areas until earlier in 2009 when I started to Twitter, at first it was to experience this new media everyone seemed to be talking about online and to promote our new business venture launched in May 2009 “The Web Chic Boutique” www.webchicboutique.co.uk hence my twitter name @webchicboutique, now I’m hooked and twitter most days.
Twitter – what is it?
Well twitter it would appear is many things to many people! Essentially it is a mini message board / blog, you can post a message up to 140 characters and it is then displayed on twitter. You follow other people who post and other people follow you, but your posts can be viewed by anyone, weather they twitter or not, so caution on what you post is a must.
There are many articles online about how to set up yourself on twitter, the etiquette and meaning of the abbreviations so I won’t explain all the details at the moment (maybe that’s for another article) needless to say some knowledge is good as it makes it more fun. You can even customise the background to co-ordinate with your website or blog (or we can design one for you).
Twitter Growing Fast
Twitter seems to be moving fast, Continue reading Do You Twitter? Why we Twitter
