The Little Gems Handmade Cards website has undergone a update and regeneration. The business has remodelled and now specialises in beautiful handmade cards for a wedding’s “Wedding Party”.

The website www.littlegems-cards.co.uk offers a full range of “Wedding Party” Thank you cards and “Will You Be” wedding party invitation cards. All cards can be personalised, which gives a wonderful keepsake for the people involved in the wedding.

Working With Little Gems Handmade Cards

I am really pleased to be working with Little Gems Handmade Cards, since the begining of 2010 I have been designing graphics which have been made into beautiful handmade cards and are on sale online at www.littlegems-cards.co.uk.

There are now lots of designs online for both Wedding and Party invitations, ranging from the classic, chic and elegant styles to the fun and funky. From Wedding cupcakes to funky wonky tiered cake party invitations and from formual one cars to tea cups for parties of all types.

Tea Party

The tea party invitation was inspired by my love of a cup of tea in a china cup and saucer, I painted this cup and saucer in watercolours from a cup and saucer here at home, I then made it into a graphic and then a card design and it was created into a handmade card now online at www.littlegems-cards.co.uk/invitation_teacup.html.

Designing Valentine Graphics for Handmade Cards

I have been working with Alison at Little Gems Handmade Cards to produce some graphics and designs for their 2010 range of Valentine’s day cards.

Alison has admired my flower designs in the past and asked me to produce some designs for the sites new range of cards.

I have designed the cards and digitally drawn red roses and rose buds, plus lots of hearts to come up with the designs which include both classic and contemporary themes.

The cards each have a layered element with a part of the design decoupage to give a 3D effect, it has been a great experience developing a range of card designs in this way for a retail outlet. The graphics are designed for print at 300dpi which gives a high quality finish to show off the detail, then produced in pdf format for Alison to print create the handmade cards.

Incorporating New Designs into an Established Range

The hearts design for example uses the same font that is used on the Little Gems Handmade Cards Wedding Party Card range to keep continuity and the wording “Will You Be My Valentine” in the same style as the sites “Will you be my Bridesmaid” range, thus making the new design card fit in as part of the sites unique range.

Little Gems Handmade Cards : Christmas Cards Now Online

Today sees the launch of the 2009 Christmas card collection from  Little Gems Handmade Cards www.littlegemscards.co.uk. A range of new cards in a chic mono chrone black and white with a hint of silver is the theme for the new cards of 2009.

Plus a new Christmas card “For My Wife” which includes a printed verse insert.

Corporate Cards

A brand new design called “Falling Snow” is launched today as a corporate card that can be personalised to your business requirments.

What we did …….

We worked together with Alison of Little Gems Handmade Cards to photograph the new cards, create new promotional images and make the new web pages for the new cards now online.

Little Gems Handmade Cards has been online 5 years from October 2009 – it started with just 10 cards and now has a vast range spanning over 120 web pages. The website has gone from strength to strength and has expanded with the business.
